Set of 6 Small Antique French Brown Rag Books, Dated 1827

A beautifully timeworn set of six small antique brown French rag books. The tones are rich and neutral, an effortless addition to any collected vignette, whether stacked on a shelf or layered into a curated display.

Each book carries the character only time can give, with wear to the covers, softened edges, and naturally aged pages that add depth and authenticity. Some volumes in the series show loosened or separated bindings, consistent with their age and use.
