Set of 2 Antique Olive Green French Rag Books – Volume 1 & 2

A beautifully timeworn pair of 19th century French legal rag books on Roman law, published in 1848. Complete with their original volume markings, Tome Premier and Tome Second.

Rich in character and history, these volumes are bound in a muted olive green and offer the kind of depth, texture, and patina that only time can create.  

Condition: Beautifully aged with expected wear consistent with age and use. May include scuffing to covers, softened corners, age toning, foxing, and occasional torn or fragile pages. All imperfections contribute to their authentic antique character and historical appeal.
